When to go to Darwin Head to Health

Head to Heath is for adults who:

  • are experiencing distress, feeling overwhelmed or are worried about themselves
  • do not need urgent medical attention
  • are willing to come to Head to Health.

We also offer support for carers and families of people experiencing distress.

Health professionals and community services

You do not need a referral to attend Darwin Head to Health however we encourage GPs, Primary Health professionals and community services to support people to use the service by providing a referral.

Darwin Head to Health is a free service. You can call us between Monday to Friday 10am - 10pm and Weekends 12 pm Midday to 8 pm.
