A new way to access mental health and wellbeing support

A free service, open every day and no referral is required.

You can arrive between Monday to Friday 10 am - 10 pm and weekends 12 pm Midday to 8 pm.

When to go to Darwin Head to Health

Darwin Head to Heath is for adults who:

  • Are experiencing distress, feeling overwhelmed or are worried about themselves
  • Do not need urgent medical attention.

We also offer support for carers and families of people experiencing distress.

If you are feeling sad, things are building up or you are worried about yourself or someone you love, Darwin Head to Health is there when you need support.

Support from people with lived experience

Staff with a lived experienced of mental health crisis are available to offer support.

Refer someone you know

Darwin Head to Health accepts GP, mental health, community services and individual referral referrals until 8pm each day, including weekends and public holidays.

Working together to support the community

Working with the community, including clinical and community services, helps provide the right support  now and for the future. Through collaboration, we can offer a ‘no wrong door’ approach and provide better access to mental health and wellbeing support
